Locations Extraction API

Overview

A Location refers to a physical address associated with an Organization, which may serve legal and/or business purposes. BrightQuery tracks approximately 449M Locations, each identified by a unique Location ID. This includes both active and inactive locations, with historical data available dating back to 2018. Locations may include business addresses (such as headquarters, branches, stores, offices, distribution centers, warehouses, P. O. boxes, etc.) as well as legal addresses. The BrightQuery Locations Universe is updated monthly.

API Description

This API provides detailed location data for approximately 102Mcompanies operating in the United States. The API delivers comprehensive, location-level information, including:

Detailed location information, including:

• Location type (headquarters, branch, etc.)
• Location address type (commercial or residential)
• Location Phone Number
• Location Website URL
• Location Active Status

Associated company information, such as:

• Company Name
• Ticker Symbol
• Company Website URL

Input Parameters

• BQ ID: Unique identifier assigned by BrightQuery.
• Page: The current page number to retrieve (for paginated results).

Use Cases

• Capital Markets: Track opening and closing of locations, part of company due diligence.
• Compliance and KYB/KYC: Address verification/validation check and check for multiple entities having the same address
• Credit Risk: Access Location based liability risks for Credit underwriting and address check for risk mitigation.
• Sales & Marketing: Location based lead generation and prospecting with access to residential addresses of business owners.

Caching of API Data: You must not pre-fetch, cache, or store the Locations API content beyond 7 days, although the BQ_ID is exempt from caching restrictions.
