Business Identity API

This API is a powerful tool that delivers Company Firmographic and Legal Entity level data for 102M Organizations doing business in the US.
  • This API allows businesses to leverage up-to-date company information using various valuable data points, such as company name, address (including HQ address, Legal Entity address, and any other address), headcount, or industry, and generate business opportunities, discover industry trends, and unlock market insights.
  • The API provides information related to corporate family tree structure and compliance checks that help businesses with identity as well as verification of the legal status of the company.

This API enables a client to search for a Company or Legal Entity using input parameters such as:

  • BQ ID
  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Website URL
  • Ticker
  • CIK

Output parameters include Organization

  • Firmographics with Revenue and Employment Ranges
  • Legal Entity details, BQ Credit Score, Taxliens etc.

BQʼs proprietary search algorithms utilize multiple match methods and sorts the results using a combination of proximity and company size with a preference towards larger companies.
