Firmographics Extraction API
Company-level identifying information and firmographics for approximately 102M Organizations both active and inactive.
Overview
The BQ Firmographics Extraction API offers Company-level identifying information and firmographics, including EIN, website, year founded, HQ address (primarily IRS), LinkedIn URL, and industry classifications (IRS, NAICS, SIC); confidence score, legal & activity indicators. BrightQuery tracks approximately 102M Organizations both Active and Inactive. The Firmographics Extraction API provides organization details such as Organization Type, Structure, Legal Structure along with most recent Revenue and employment numbers.
API Description
This API provides a comprehensive Organization Firmographics information for all active and inactive organizations in the BQ Dataset and contains information, including:
- Organization Name, DBA name, Type, Structure, Legal Name and Year founded.
- EIN, Ticker, CIK, LEI numbers where applicable.
- Organization headquarters address, phone number, website URL, LinkedIn URL, Crunchbase URL.
- Indicators such as Public, REIT, Non-Profit, US Only, Legally/Operationally active, OFAC and IRS tax liens etc.
- Industry Codes (NAICS, SIC and IRS).
- Most recent Employment and revenue number with extraction date information.
Input Parameters
- BQ ID: Unique identifier assigned by BrightQuery.
The API returns 1 record per search. To retrieve firmographics data, use the unique BrightQuery (BQ) ID. All responses are provided in JSON format.
Update Frequency
The BrightQuery Firmographics Universe is updated monthly.
Caching of API Data
You must not pre-fetch, cache, or store the Firmographics Extraction API content beyond 7 days, although the `BQ_ID` is exempt from caching restrictions.
